Designing a Cost-Time-Quality-Efficient Grinding Process Using MODM Methods

In this paper a multi-objective mathematical model has been used to optimize grinding parameters include workpiece speed, depth of cut and wheel speed which highly affect the final surface quality. The optimization problem consists three conflict objective functions subject wear production rate constraints. Exact methods can solve NLP in few seconds, therefore using Meta-heuristic algorithms provide near optimal solutions not suitable. Considering this, five Multi-Objective Decision Making have GAMS software achieve process. different effective where decision maker choose each solution situations. Different criteria considered evaluate performance methods. Also, Technique for Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution method obtain priority determine performs better considering all simultaneously. results indicated that Weighted Sum Method Goal programming are best provided competitive other. addition, these obtained minimum time, cost roughness among other
